Thanksgiving is a time when you have the opportunity to spend time with your family and friends, to show how much you love them.
I interviewed three students and asked them what did they have planned for their Thanksgiving break. Maverick Porter II said that he and his family have the traditional Thanksgiving theme where family and Friends come over to eat, play games and reminisce on old times.
"My favorite part of Thanksgiving is my mother's cooking, and sitting down with my little cousins and playing video games," said Porter II.
The other student I interviewed was Donna Reed. In Donna's household every Thanksgiving, her and her family goes out of town to California to visit family that they haven't seen since last Thanksgiving.
"She can't [wait] until she gets home so that she could see her family and get a home cooked meal," Reed said.
The third and final person that I interviewed was Cheryl Mosley. This year Thanksgiving is going to be different in Cheryl's family.
Normally, Cheryl helps her mother prepare Thanksgiving at their house, but this year they're going to Cheryl's uncle's house because he just moved back from North Carolina, so they decided to cook at his house to change the family tradition.
