Candidates on watch

Well it has certainly been an interesting turn of events over the weeks following the Super Tuesday primaries.
On the Republican side, the nomination seems to be definitely going to Senator John McCain (R-Arizona.) following his huge victories during Super Tuesday and the primaries in states including Washington and Wisconsin.
Despite rumors that he has had an affair with a female lobbyist, this has not seemed to slow the unstoppable Republican machine that is McCain. In order to, win the nomination for the Republican Party a candidate needs 1,191 delegates, and McCain has a total of 1,032 and his competition Mike Huckabee has only 247.
On the Democrats' side, the race has become much more cutthroat. Senator Barack Obama (D-Illinois) has won every primary following Super Tuesday and has the most regular delegates. Senator Hilary Clinton (D-New York) is down by only 97 delegates and she currently commands more super-delegates than Obama and super-delegate's decision can be worth more than the a regular delegate.
With the primaries in Texas and Ohio coming up, negativity about Obama including his policies and the charges that he stole parts of his speech from another politician have been thrown at him in an attempt to slow down his momentum and attempt to give Clinton a chance to breathe live into a campaign some consider to be dead.
This about wraps up the Pounce Online Election Coverage for this week, hope everybody pays attention to the primaries on March 4.
