How do you pick her

Every Friday and Saturday night Eastern Illinois University students go to parties and for those that are of age go to the bars. For those students that are single it is the best time to find that someone special even if it's only for the night. It is a very daunting task but thankfully there is such a thing as pick-up lines. But what are the best ones to use? Which are the most effective? I sought to find out these burning questions. I polled five different men on EIU's campus and here's what I got:
"I just say 'hi', and talk about what's going on because pick-up lines are bad to use; we're not in the 60's."
Mike Latimore, sophomore accounting major.
"I usually don't do this but I promised myself I'd talk to you by the end of the night".
Ross Madden, freshman physical education major.
"Excuse me do you know what time it is?"
Victor Bellan, senior communication studies major.
"I'm too cute for pick-up lines; I don't need to use them".
Steven Medel, freshman business major.
